it's probably different than what
you've ever experienced before...
mind boggling...way more... intimate...
more than anything ending in an '...est'
in this life...in fact...it is 'quintessential
Love' in fact so delicate..so personal...so
compassionate...so unbelievably full of
mercy / forgiveness...which - now that I
think about it - cannot be limited by a mere
definition when it is encountered in real life..
the only way I can describe it is that His Love
is so...so 'Tender' - but even that word is too
'restricted' and even 'harsh' in its ability to
communicate His Response to our anguished
admission of what we now realize was the
'taking of an innocent life' by abortion - it can't
be brushed aside anymore...there can be no
excuse...no satisfactory rationalization that can
even begin to step in the direction to mitigate our
guilt / shame in making that decision out of -what
was then- in our own 'best interest' but now see
'clear as day' as an abhorrent...selfish...self-centered
choice for which we now feel 'sorrow beyond all
sorrows'..beyond any 'right' to be forgiven...beyond
any 'reasonable expectation' of anything other than
'formal condemnation' and a 'justified punishment' to
'fit the deed'...it was a 'deadly decision' to deprive
His precious daughter of her legitimate right-to-life
and even though the decision was entrenched in fear /
insecurity and declared as our 'lawful choice'... it
was rooted in prideful ambition with a fierce distain
for any interference of our plans...dreams which
were much more important...indeed a greater priority
than any 'intrusive revelation' which was living within
yet unattached and 'invading' our personal space which
made the decision much more abstract and divorced
from any boundaries of compunction which now seems
unbelievable / revolting to have carried out the 'death
sentence' for which we now also grieve / mourn while
begging forgiveness from the Innocent One who was
hung on the Cross for sins such as this and for which
we expected damnation but now receive only His
'quintessential Love' which also brings with it a Grace
to finally forgive ourselves...letting go of our guilt / shame
but only after also begging forgiveness from our precious
daughter whom we are assured to meet face to face in a
Heavenly Embrace 'seeing' she has her Mother's eyes and
a countenance radiant with Our Savior's 'quintessential Love'
which brings tears of Gratitude in Anticipation of caressing
her name...together... Forever...
