My hope for you

Poetry speaks to our minds and hearts and is meant to communicate more than the sum of its words. It is an apt expression of our walk with the Lord. I encourage you to forward this link to those you love. I pray this poetry leads you into reflection and prayer but I also want to start a conversation. You, too, have something to share with others-not only in person, but also here. Your experience is yours to give away to build up and learn from others in the Body of Christ. Share the word that you hear, the experiences you have lived. We are all part of the New Evangelization. If you also want to contact me by email, feel free: genefirn@yahoo.com

A Message to my Readers

Welcome to my Poetry Blog!
Rather, welcome to Jesus' Blog!
I especially want to welcome my
brothers and sisters from China and
from all over the world! Never in my
imagination did I ever think that this
would happen. May the Lord pour out
His Spirit upon you and may He speak
to you through each and every poem
and draw you to Himself!

If I may, I have some favors to ask of you.!
I have never really promoted the blog nor
communicated to my readers, but, I've been
encouraged to do so, here it is:

1. Please pass on the link to my blog to your
friends, family and brothers and sisters in the
Lord - especially the links to poems that spoke
   to you.

2. I'd love to hear your comments on the poems
as well as offically "follow" my blog.
I don't get a lot of feedback and it would be
    very encouraging for me.

3. I want to encourage each of you to
pray for Revival in the Church at least 5 minutes
a day. That doesn't sound like much, but, for every
12 people who make that commitment, that's an
hour of intercession. Therefore, 288 people = 24hrs
etc. Imagine a million intercessors, at least 5 minutes a day,
that's 5 million minutes, and, if my math is correct, that's
9.5 years of intercession everyday! Come Holy Spirit!
    Revive Your Church!

4. If you haven't been answering the questions at the end of
each poem, I encourage you to pray through them. I added
them after about 5 years of writing because I sensed the
Lord would speak to you through your reflection / discussion
and give you even more out of each poem.

May the Lord draw you even closer and speak to your hearts!

In His Love, Eugene Firn
